Why Mulayam Singh Yadav should be Prime Minister?
By : Kanwal
Bharti
The SP
(Samajwadi Party) chief Mulayam Singh Yadav has given a wonderful plea that the
condition of and law and order in UP, is bad because the province has the
largest population. He has said that the crimes in Delhi like states are few
because they have scanty population; UP has more population so it has more
crimes. In the words of Kabir, it can be said like this, ‘Phooti Ankh Vivek Ki’
(the eye of prudence has been burst). He is issuing a certificate of his own
incapability giving such childish arguments. This argument makes his protest
against the division of UP nonsensical. This supports to divide of UP, at
least, in to two or three small states to minimize the number of the crimes as
well as make the order of the law good and efficient. On the plea of Mulayam
Singh the opposition is right to oppose him saying that province having only
twenty crores population is not being handled properly by him and his party,
that it is in vain to dream to be the Prime Minister. The population of the
country is more than one hundred and twenty five crores. How would he be to
take care of it?
It is not only the opinion of the
opposition but the public of UP holds the same. The reasons are very much
obvious. It is the SP wants to think over it, it can. The reasons behind
getting a clear majority in UP, though, are many but the potent reason is this
that the command of the election campaign was in the hands of Akhilesh Yadav,
the son of Mulayam Singh. The people got SP elected thinking that UP shall
progress and there shall be an end to the Gunda Raj under the leadership of a
young Chief Minister. It was the victory of Akhilesh and not of Mulayam
Singh Yadav. The youths of the state demanded that Akhilesh should be
the Chief Minister. In order to honour this demand, Mulayam got his son
coroneted. The people were happy to see the reins in the hands of Akhilesh, but
the happiness flew away soon when his father decided to keep fifty percent
ruling power in his hands and for the use of the rest fifty percent he got
Shivpal Yadav and Rampuri Chacha Azam Khan seated on the shoulders of Akhilesh.
The young CM also released the statement that he would run the government after
having taken consultations and advices from their respect elders. Since the
very moment the government began to heed towards ruin. Why shall these elders
would like that Akhilesh should rule on his own accords? These elders did not
allow him to work freely. He saw what was shown; he said what was told. It
means that UP has four Chief Ministers and among them Akhilesh is only the
nominal. The ugliness of it is not only this that the young voters have been
deceived but also the carrear of a young CM was nipped in the bud. No miracle,
now, can be expected from Akhilesh. The responsibility of such a situation lies
upon Mulayam Singh alone.
There is a colloquial proverb
current in our UP that ‘hanging-basket has been broken by the luck of a cat’.
May this proverb be real and the chair of the PM may come to the grasp of
Mulayam Singh Yadav, what shall happen then? The instance of UP may be
repeated and many undeclared prime
ministers shall be found sitting on the shoulders of Mulayam Singh Yadav and
within a year shall be a cry for help throughout the countrybecause of the
prevalence of the Gunda Raj. Leave it, for it is a far lying Cowrie; Delhi is
far away from Mulayam. It is better for him to control his government in UP
than to drill for becoming PM. The cloud of the disaster may gather around it
just after the parliamentary elections.
Let us come to think over the
question as why the situation of law and order in UP has become deteriorated
and is out of control? The disorder has began with the posting of the beloved
officers in the districts and in the administration. The trio of Mulayam,
Shivpal and Azam Khan got yadav and muslim officers of their choice appointed
on all small and big posts like D.M., S.P., R.T.O., C.O. and S.O. etc. there is
no harm in it because all the political parties have been doing so. During the
rule of the Congress and the BJP most of the important posts remained occupied
by the Brahamins. The SP has also adopted caste and religion to be the
criterion of the appointments instead of keeping in view the skill, efficiency
and administrative experience and achievements of the officers. Out of these
Yadav and Muslim officers only those were preferred by the ministers who could serve
them as a domestic servant. Consequently, such officers were used as a tool.
The very officers who could not like to remain in the state of servitude were
shunted out immediately. Therefore, the condition of the state was to be,
necessarily, deteriorated, when such officers are to remain obedient only to
the ministers and the legislators, how can the public get security? In the
district Moradabad Up, a muslim S.O. in pursuance of a SP leader got a trader
kidnapped and then murdered and managed his dead body to be thrown in to the
jurisdiction of a neighboring district Rampur. Luckily, the villagers saw the
act of throwing the corpse and the case became clear because of the witness of
the villagers. Now, the Muslim S.O. in order to escape arrest has taken shelter
under the SP leaders and the police after getting the evidences destroyed is threatening the family of the
deceased. In Kanpur a MLA of SP with the help of superintendent of police
(Yadav) managed to get innocent doctors beaten badly by their Gundas and
police. In Rampur a muslim C.O. city and a Yadav R.T.O. both on the insinuation
of Azam Khan work to teach lesson to his opponents. Azam Khan has managed a
number of rivals to be sent to jail on the basis of the false reports lodged by
the Yadav R.T.O. and got many opponents badly beaten by the Muslim C.O. city.
When I was arrested on account of a comment against Azam Khan on fesbook, S.O.
dragged me to the respective police station, and I was
wearing only a baniyan and paijama (trouser). When two district magistrates and
one superintendent of police refused to obey the illegal oral order of Azam
Khan had to leave Rampur in disgrace. This is truth is not only of Rampur but
of the whole province. Those Muslim and Yadav officers working under the
pressure of the Dabang ministers and legislators have made the life of the
people troublesome.
I may be charged for creating
indifference between Muslim and Yadavs. But I would like to contradict the
charge for it is not not true. I am
naming Muslims and Yadavs knowing to speak the truth that the Muslim and Yadav
officersare hundred time are more responsible than the government of SP for the
worst condition of the state. The SP provided these officers an opportunity to
prove their administrative shall but they failed. The forgot that this golden
opportunity to bring them to the main current was given by the politics of the
social justice for which the fight was fought by Kanshi Ram and Mulayam Singh
Yadav together. Therefore, it was the duty of these Muslim and Yadav officers
to prove themselves better than of those of the Dwiz officers. But instead of
discharging their duty towards the people honestly and following the
governmental policies of justice and welfare, they considered it better to get
themselves engaged in the service of the ministers and legislators. What
difference did it make, it they would have out rightly refuted to obey the
wrong dictates of these ministers? The maximum untoward result would have been
their transfer, but in that case they could have left an impression of a
skilful and a honest officer in the minds of the people. However, these
officers thought that this was a good opportunity of earning as much money as
they could earn, and could have taken as much promotion as they could have by
way of serving the ministers. They did not think that by doing so they are
making themselves culprits and proving incapable in the field of the
administration. Thus, they not only spoiled their career but also got the fleet
of the Samajwadi Party sunk. If Mulayam Singh and Akhilesh are listening to me
then, nothing has become irrecoverable
worse. They should preach their officers to come away from the servitude of the
ministers and legislators and make friendship with the people. May there some
prestige be safe in the parliamentary elections. Let Mulayam Singh come to know
a better truth that his most beloved Azam Khan is the least worried about the
success and failure of the Samajwadi Party in the forth-coming election, but he
is worried about as how much money he can extract from the SP government for
his university during the remaining three years of the government. His whole
drill is for his university not for strengthening the SP. If Mulayam Singh does
not rely upon this truth, then he may please come to Rampur in disguise in the
fashion of the emperor, Akbar to see that even zero percent development has not
been done yet here in Rampur and the road linking railway station are badly damaged.
He should also see that the fifty thousand people have been deserted and made
jobless by Azam Khan. And this is being done in the name of the Samajwad. If
the Samajwad is this, then why one shall
cost his vote in support of the SP in order to make Mulayam Singh, the Prime
Minister.
